Happy Halloween!

Last year, we went to Danielle and Griff's house for Halloween.  It was great to spend this holiday with other kids (since Katelyn was so little)... and the benefit is that those kids are family!!!!  This year, we opted to do the same thing.  We thought this would be good for Katelyn because we were pretty worried that she would HATE Halloween.  I worked with her leading up to the day talking about holding out her bucket and saying Trick or Treat and that people would be in costume.....

Well, she did GREAT!  In fact, she LOVED Halloween!  It only took one house and she totally knew what was going on.  We had her and her cousin Quinn (who is 2) in our wagon and would unload them at each house and the two would literally RUN up to the house to get candy.  It was hilarious!  Gabrielle and Cullen were ready to stop after about 1/2 hour (it was cold) but Quinn and Katelyn could have gone for another 2 hours.

Once we got back to Danielle and Griff's, all the kids got to have some candy.  Well, this was Katelyn's first candy and she loved that too (shocker right?)  She kept saying "more chocolate."  It was hilarious!

Ok Katelyn, we know this is your first "real" trick or treating experience.  Don't worry we'll show you what to do!

All bundled up and ready to go!

Here's Katelyn actually up at the door.  She did so great.  She would just follow Quinn and hold out her bucket.. so cute!
