On September 18, 2011, we were so delighted to welcome Sam officially into the Lord's family. We feel so blessed to have him and thank the Lord for him in our life!
We were considering two names when heading to the hospital pregnant with Sam. Sam was actually our second choice going in, but once we met him, we knew he was a Sam. We have liked the name Sam for so long because of the following bible passage:
20 So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the LORD for him.”.....I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. (1 Samuel 1: 20, 27)
Nana and Pap came from Wisconsin for the event! Just a little Papa and Sam time...
Such a good baby.. hardly even cried!
Well, maybe a few tears...
Whew, thank goodness that is over!
