It's been a long time since I updated the blog. Look for updates this week.... our camera has officially died and we've been taking pics with Ross's phone in the meantime (it actually takes really good pics!) but it also means getting the pics from his phone to my computer is a logistical/timing challenge :)
I will say that Katelyn is absolutely adorable! She is 21 months now (as of October 5) and is up to so many great things! Here are just a few:
-She knows her colors.. especially the primaries (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
-She can count to 10 (with a little assistance)
-She speaks in 3-5 word sentences.. some examples: "mama, more juice", "look, a big ball!", "dada, play choo choos", "shhh, baby sleeping",
-She climbs on everything!
-She absolutely loves her monkey jammies and she would wear them everynight to bed if we let her. We bought her other monkey jammies, but those are her favorite.
-She loves being outside (must get them from her daddy) and especially loves the slide and swings at the park, bubbles (but only if she gets to blow the bubbles.. control... now THAT she gets from her mom), and... of course, DIRT.
-She adores guitars. She is a bit afraid of them up close, but loves hearing guitars and music in general.
-She loves high fives
-She loves rocks and sticks... we will take her to neat place like a pumpkin patch or apple orchard but she'd rather play with rocks and sticks.
-She is a little lovebug. She is so cuddly (especially when she is tired). We love her so much!
