Zoo time!!!!!

So, this past Sunday we had an UNUSUALLY warm day for April in Mi.... 80 degrees!!!!  We had made plans to meet our good friends Sarah and Charlie and their son, Caron, for breakfast in the morning and early that morning we called and asked if they wanted to go to the zoo with us afterwards!  They agreed and off we went!

Katelyn truly loves animals.  The only thing she loves more than animals (maybe) are instruments.  We have tons of stuffed animals, plastic animals, etc at our house and they are the first thing she goes for in the morning and what she takes to bed with her at night.  Her favorite are giraffes, zebras, ducks and sheep.  So, needless to say, the zoo is so much fun for her because she gets to see lots of her favorite animals!  She loved the zoo last year, but it is even more fun to have her there this year, because she can say so much more.  She really notices all the animals and points and talks about them.  It is just so cute... I LOVE this age :)

Sarah took a pic of our family (in front of the zebras, although they opted out of the picture apparently) and believe it or not, we are ALL looking at the camera!

I can't wait for more zoo trips this summer!  Soon with Baby Boy in tow as well!
