Katelyn's Baptism

Today was Katelyn's baptism :) It was such a special day for our whole family. We are so happy to have Katelyn welcomed into God's family... especially at the church were Ross and I were married and by the pastor who married us.

Katelyn was not a huge fan of being baptised. She was fine until she was flipped on her back and water was put on her head. Then she screamed! She didn't let up until Pastor Jerry took her and walked her around and introduced her to the congregation.. then she was happy as a clam!

One of the most special pieces of our day was that Katelyn was able to wear my mother's (her grandmother's) baptismal gown! It was so wonderful to have her wear a family treasure.

After the baptism, we had our families back to our house for a grill out with BEAUTIFUL weather! Ross made awesome burgers and everyone had a great time. Thank you to all our families and friends who made an effort to be there for Katelyn's special day. It meant so much to us. God's Blessings!

Our family :)

Griff, Ross, Jen, Katelyn and Danielle. Danielle and Griff were so kind to be Katelyn's godparents. I know they will be awesome godparents!

All the grandparents...beaming with pride!
