Fifteen Months!

After Katelyn turned a year, I thought I'd stop doing the monthly update, but wanted to do an update now that she is fifteen months. I can't believe how fast the time goes! These days it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get a good picture. Seriously, she is so fast and constantly moving. Here's a few things she is up to nowadays.

-Loves playing. Especially in the park. If we tell Katelyn we are going to the park, she says "weeee"! It is so cute. She loves the swings and Ross takes her to the park nearly nightly to play.
-Her other favorite toys include her oversized teddy bear (bigger than her!), her bucket and shovel, and her ride-on horsey. And of course, overall, her favorite toy is still her books. She is our little reader!
-She has 10 teeth. She pretty much eats what we eat now. She's had everything under the sun and eats most of what she is given. We are blessed with a really good eater-let's hope it stays this way!
-She says around 20 words and knows well over a hundred. I'm constantly amazed with things she understands and will do (example: "katelyn go get your baby and put it in the stroller.")
-She takes one nap a day and usually it's a pretty good nap...around 2 hours.
-She weighs 24 pounds and measures 31 inches which puts her in the 75th percentile for both. It was interesting at her last appointment, but she got measured on a regular scale like we adults do!
-She gives hugs and kisses now. There is nothing more rewarding!

She really is becoming a big girl. We are so blessed!
