5 Months Old!

Wow, I cannot believe Katelyn is 5 months old already!!! She is such a sweet little girl with so much personality already. We can tell she is going to be someone who conquers everything she sets her mind to. She is always moving, always looking and so determined. She's SUPER strong and enjoys doing things to show it off. She pretty much sleeps through the night now. She goes to bed between 8:00-8:30 and usually wakes up around 4 or 5 but we let her squirm a bit and she usually goes back to sleep until 6:00. (Hallelujah!)

A few of likes:
-Grabbing onto toys and other things within arms reach
-Putting EVERYthing into her mouth
-Eating :) She's still on breastmilk, but we'll venture into solids shortly before her 6 month birthday
-Her feet and hands-they are a constant source of entertainment
-Getting lotion/baby massage with Daddy after bath
-Being outside. We just got her an outdoor swing she loves
-Walks. Now she loves walks that she can sit up in the stroller and isn't confined to her carseat
-Practicing sitting up and standing
-Baby Mozart (the "tv" she gets to watch)
-Her favorite toys are things she can put in her mouth and her Counting Lily (although try as she might this does not fit in her mouth.)

A few dislikes:
-Hats
-Traveling in the car (unless she is sleeping.)
-Getting medicine
-Teething
-Napping in her crib (we're working on this.)
-Pacifiers (despite Mom's best attempts)

What a great little girl!
