A mini adventure...

This week we had our bathroom reglazed (pictures to come soon.) Because the fumes are pretty intense, we ended up needing to be gone from our house for 3 days, 2 nights. We had quite the adventure!!!! On Monday, we headed up to Kelly Duty's to hang out at her beach with her and her two boys (Evan and Jameson.) Then we headed back to Plymouth to meet Ross for dinner and checked into our hotel where we swam in the pool. Tuesday we headed up to Birmingham to play with Katelyn's cousins. (Gabrielle was actually in the hospital... she is okay now but had an infection on a cut on her lip. We helped watched the other two kids-Cullen and Quinn-with Grandma Hock while Danielle was at the hospital with Gabrielle.) We came back Tuesday night for more hotel fun and finally returned home on Wednesday... whew-what a week! Here's a few pictures and videos from our adventure....

Here's a video of the three kids playing in the water at the beach... Katelyn loved it! What makes this video SO funny is the very end. It abruptly ends because as you can see at the end, Katelyn scoops up a BIG handful of sand and eats it! Whoops! Well, guess I can add another solid to her list....




Here's a video of Katleyn at the pool at the hotel... she is really loving water now! Usually she really likes it, but this was right before her bedtime, so she was a little less excited than normal :)

Cullen wasn't playing on the swings when I took the video, but he joined us after awhile! He's such a sweet boy... he had a blast at the park!

All in all, a fun adventure and a good test for our upcoming vacation over labor day (stay tuned for that update! Our first family vacation and a full four days on the road with Katelyn! We'll see how it goes!)
